I hope you all have been enjoying your summer break! On Monday we will be performing at the Adult Ed Graduation. This means that if you were in the Wind Orchestra and played at the last graduation you will be performing. If you are a freshman and want to perform with us then you are more than welcome! Other than that band camp #2 starts on Tuesday and will end on Saturday. Monday 09:00 - 12:00 PM Block #1 12:00 - 01:00 PM Lunch 01:00 - 05:00 PM Rehearsal 05:00 - 06:30 PM Change/Dinner 06:30 - 08:00 PM Graduation Ceremony *times maybe subject to change During "block #1" we will be painting the field, getting music ready, getting the stage ready, and generally preparing ourselves for the performance and the band camp that we will have this week. Everyone must be in attendance at 09:00 AM we have a lot of stuff to do and not enough time believe it or not! Lunch will be provided by the school (pizza) however, if you wish to bring your own you may do so; everyone must bring dinner unless they wish to eat at home. Lastly do not forget to bring your concert dress and tuxedoes if you are a freshman and do not have a tuxedo or concert dress you may dress in all black attire. Either black long dress (must reach ankles) or black pants with black long sleeve shirt. No heels!!! Tuesday - Saturday 8:20 - 8:55 AM Building opens/DCI videos 9:00 - 12:30 AM Block #1 12:30 - 1:20 PM Lunch 1:30 - 5:00 PM Block #2 5:00 - 5:15 PM Pack-up/Announcements/Dismissal 5:15 PM Parent Pick-up *During blocks students will receive breaks and time for snacks if needed. Lunch will NOT be provided and students are NOT allowed to leave campus. Students must bring their own lunch or parents may drop off their lunch. If students desire to have their lunch delivered then they must schedule it to arrive at 12:30 PM or they will not have time to eat lunch. Friendly reminder that the second payment is due on Tuesday 25 July, the amount due is $150. If you have not already done so friendly reminder that you must complete the marching band registration form and the Marching Band Member Contract. These forms are past due. If you wish to donate snacks, Gatorade, water, etc please bring donations in the morning so that the parent volunteers may set-up "snack carts." See most of you on Monday and everyone on Tuesday!
